Be Smart About Smart Meters

 Recently we had posted about the negative effects of EMF (electric magnetic fields), and the sources such as WiFi and cell phones. Well there is new and more dangerous EMF source that is now becoming more and more prevalent everyday and is probably at your house right now. It is called the Smart Meter, a smart meter is an electrical meter that records usage of electric energy in intervals of an hour and then communicates that information back to the utility company.The smart meter differs from the automatic meter reading system because it is capable of two way communication. Smart Meters emit pulsed radiofregency (RF), that are responsible for many serious problems arising all over the country. Including some very serious health problems that are listed below.

• Anxiety,and stress
• Ear Pain, ringing in the ears
• Sleeping problems such as nightmares, insomnia and night waking.
• Headaches, pressure and sharp pain in head
• Eye Problems, eye pain, eye pressure.
• Balance Problems, dizziness, disorientation
• Muscle or physical weakness, fatigue
• Concentration, memory and learning problems
• Heart Symptoms, such as chest pain, heart palpitations, and heart arrhythmia
• Neuropathy, leg cramps
• Nausea, and flu-like symptoms
• Nose Bleeds, and sinus problems.
• Skin Rashes
• Respiratory Problems, asthma, and coughing
• High blood pressure
• Seizures
• Recurrence of cancer
• Urinary problems
• Thyroid problems
• Endocrine Problems
• Diabetes

There is story after story on the internet from families that are being devastated by these meters. After the meters have been installed these families have been overwhelmed with the above health problems, some have even tried to have the meter removed or moved due to the meter. Another scary problem that is associated with this meter is the heightened RF that it causes with the other electronic devices in your home. Meaning the EMF from the cell phones and microwave is so much heightened that they can no longer use them without then experience more serious health problems. 

You can take action if you don't already have a smart meter you can lock up your analog meter, to prevent the smart meter from being installed. Some have used a heavy case-hardened steel chain or fenced their analogs in with a locking gate, and a posting that says "Do Not Install Smart Meter Here". For certain energy companies such as PG & E there is an opt out option that you can complete online but they try to deter you by charging you close to $100 to opt out when the Smart Meter option is free. But really $100 dollars is a very small price to pay when it comes to eliminating some major health risks for you and your family.
