Be Ready to Work-CrossFit is a very intense workout that is extremely demanding and taxing on the body. CrossFit taxes and demands extremes from even the world's best athletes. First establish consistency before maximizing intensity.
Here is an example of a CrossFit workout:
- 155 pound Squat clean, 15 reps
- 30 Toes to bar
- 30 Box jump, 24 inch box
- 15 Muscle-ups
- 40 pound dumbbell Push press / push jerk, 30 reps
- 30 Double-unders
- 135 pound Thruster, 15 reps
- 30 Pull-ups
- 30 Burpees
- 300 feet Walking lunge with 45lb plate held overhead
The coolest thing about CrossFit is that it never changes and police officers, Olympic athletes, and housewives have all achieved the best results with the same regime. CrossFit is quickly becoming the hot new workout and now seems to have a large group of people involved in the CrossFit workout.
