70/30 "Diet"
The 70/30 way of eating is not a new concept but rather a great balance in eating that has shown to help you lose and maintain a healthy weight. This balanced eating has also shown to re calibrate the body and help prevent and fight diseases. It also helps to decrease inflammation, and optimizing bran function. Rather than making you feel starved this way of eating will help to decrease feelings of hunger, and will to increase energy level.
What to eat on 70/30
- 70 percent of the food you consume is plant food-veggies, fruits.
- 30 percent of food you consume is protein-lean meats, nuts, fish.
What not to eat on 70/30
- Whole Grains
- Soy Foods
- Canola Oil
- Potatoes
- Bread
- Processed Food
- Fast Food
- Prepackaged Foods
As previously stated this is not so much a diet but more of a healthy balanced way to eat. This is exactly how we were intended to eat and live. This is more about making healthy choices and eating balanced. This is how we should be striving to eat everyday. This diet has also been marketed by Tana Amen, as the "Omni Diet". Amen has stated that at 43, she feels the best, and the healthiest she has been in her whole life.This diet has helped her fight immune disorder, depression and thyroid cancer. Again this way of eating has the potential to overhaul your health and get you back on track to a health life and lifestyle.
