The Dangers of Aluminum Deodorants and Antiperspirants!!

Everybody needs deodorant or antiperspirant, but that doesn't mean we should use one with the toxin aluminum. Almost all deodorants/antiperspirants out on the market contain aluminum in there ingredients  in facts its usually listed first, but aluminum is found to cause various diseases and complications in the body.

Aluminum's link to Alzheimer's Disease-One of the biggest claims against aluminum based antiperspirants is its connection between them and Alzheimer's Disease. It is believed that the chemical seeps into the brain after continuous use leading to Alzheimer's.

Aluminum Plugging Glands-Aluminum forms a temporary plug in the sweat gland to stop the flow of sweat. Some research suggested plugging the gland like that prevents toxins from exiting the body, and causes the toxins to remain in the body and be reabsorbed.

Aluminum's Link to Breast Cancer- Some research suggests that aluminum compounds, which are applied frequently and left on skin near the breast, may be absorbed and cause estrogen-like hormone effects.And because estrogen has the ability to promote the growth of breast cancer cells, some scientists have suggested that the aluminum based compounds in antiperspirants may contribute to the development of breast cancer.

Now none of these claims are 100% proven, but I look at aluminum in my deodorant/antiperspirant like this:
1) Why would I want to put something on and in my body that is referred to by scientists, doctors, and health officials as a toxin?-Well I Don't
2) If there is any possibility of the above claims being true, then why risk it when there are alternatives.




The Alternatives:
There are now alternatives that do not contain aluminum, such as but not limited to:

• Crystal-Natural Deodorant
• Kiss My Face-Liquid Rock Natural Deodorant
• Burt's Bees-Natural Deodorant

Now you may have to figure out which one works best for you, and may you have to order some online, but the extra hassle is worth the benefits of putting a natural product on and in your body. Sometimes healthy natural living is more work but its better for your body and health long term.
