The Newest Fun Workout: Pound: Rockout. Workout!!
Some of us can't just go to the gym and run on the treadmill, some of us need something super fun and different to keep us active. Well if you are looking to an alternative to your normal gym routine, then you should check out Pound: Rockout. Workout!
Pound is a full cardio workout, that brings together constant simulated drumming and light resistance. The workout is a combination of cardio, isometric movement, Pilates, Plyometrics, and Isometric poses. The sessions are 45 minutes long, and burn between 600 and 900 calories per hour. This workout with also sculpt and strengthen muscles you rarely use, while giving you a slimmer leaner, body. Pound also uses lightly weighted drumsticks called Ripstix™, that help you burn calories and have those killer arms. And best of all you do it all while listening to great music and having a blast.Pound fuses strength training with easy to follow cardio moves and drumming. That fusion works the whole body, raises your heart rate to a fat-burning zone, and makes each move as precise as a basic beat. After a 45 minute workout, you will have completed 15,000 reps, 30 extended interval peaks, and 70 techniques, all while not even realizing because its so fun! And according to its participants and founders, Pound is easy to stick with because you see such fast results.
Pound was founded by Kirsten Potenza and Cristina Peerenboom, best friends, fitness experts, music enthusiasts, and of course drummers. Their philosophy for Pound is "Life can't be fully enjoyed without balance and nurturing, and if you give up on self-improvement, at any time, you give up on yourself"
